The Washable Monochrome Aztec Rug is made to be used rather than protected. It is woven from 70% cotton, 30% polyester and goes straight into a domestic washing machine at 30°C, so spilt tea, muddy paws and the general traffic of a family home stop being a problem you have to plan around. It comes out soft, holds its colour, and does not need replacing after one bad afternoon.

At around 5mm it sits low enough to clear a door and to take a dining chair being pushed back without catching. The woven backing grips the floor, so it stays where you put it on wood, tile or laminate without a separate underlay. Being flatwoven, it does not shed onto the floor around it and does not flatten into tracks along the routes people actually walk.

Available in Navy and Charcoal, so it can be matched to a room you have already decorated.
