Santorini Traditional Floral Distressed Blue Rug

About this rug

A Persian floral, softened by time

The Santorini takes the classic Persian floral and fades it back — the pattern gently worn, the blues settling into indigo and slate, and trailing florals running edge to edge inside a faded border that looks as though it has spent years in a well-used hallway. It is the vintage look without the fragility or the cost of an antique.

Why blue works in a living room

Blue is the most requested rug colour in British homes, and this is the wearable kind — muted rather than bright, sitting comfortably against grey sofas, oak floors and white walls.

Woven in Turkey, built for daily life

Made in Turkey on traditional looms, in polypropylene with a 10mm medium pile — soft underfoot, but shallow enough to clear an internal door and to take a dining chair being pushed back without catching.

• Stain resistant — spills lift with a damp cloth instead of soaking in
• Pet and child friendly — no shedding, no snagging
• Underfloor heating safe
• Eight sizes — 80x150cm through to 240x330cm, plus runners and rounds
• Free UK mainland delivery and 30 days to change your mind

Which size do I need?

In a living room, aim to get the front legs of your sofa and chairs onto the rug — 160x230cm suits most UK sitting rooms, and 200x290cm works for larger spaces. Hallways take a 60x230cm runner. Under a dining table, allow around 60cm beyond each edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.

A blue Persian style rug that looks older than it is, and copes with far more than an old one could.
